Your child's health is of major importance. For your protection, CCA has adopted the following regulations:
| ♦ Acute Cold / Fever | ♦ Head Lice / Ring Worm | |
| ♦ Diarrhea | ♦ Rashes | |
| ♦ Sore Throat | ♦ Nausea / Vomiting | |
| ♦ Pink Eye | ♦ Discharge from eyes / ears | |
| ♦ Flu-like symptoms |
If your child has been diagnosed with a communicable disease (strep throat or conjunctivitis-pink eye), it is required that you keep him/her until he/she is no longer contagious. For strep throat, this means 24 hours after the medication has started (unless directed otherwise by a physician).
If a student becomes too ill during the school day to remain at school, a parent and/or the individual listed on the Emergency Information Form will need to pick the student up.
Emergency InformationParents must complete an enrollment application for each student so that the school is able to contact parents quickly in the event that the child is injured or becomes ill at school. Health problems and allergies must be indicated. An important part of that information is listing emergency contact persons who may be available to assume responsibility and/or pick up the child in the event that the school is unable to reach a parent. It is helpful to let these persons know that they are listed so that they can be prepared to assist. If any of this information changes during the school year please the school with the new information promptly.
"Free Dress" DaysOccasionally the administration will declare a "free dress" day. On these days students will be permitted to wear non-uniform attire. Please keep in mind that the following is unacceptable: oversized clothing, tops with logo's or writing, shorts that do not meet the dress code length, tight shirts, crop tops, tops with spaghetti straps, tank tops or bra straps that show.
Special Event AttireStudents are expected to wear the attire requested by the instructor or administrator.
The following rules must be adhered to while attending any field trip or off campus event:
If a student is injured at school and requires more than a simple first-aid treatment, the parents will be contacted. If the parents cannot be reached, the child will be taken for emergency medical treatment in conformance to the medical release signed by all parents upon registration.
CalendarPlease refer to the school calendar for holidays and school closures.
Classroom Visitation and Parties
Every month a school newsletter, the Eagle Gazette, will be sent home for the purpose of communicating with parents and students. It includes important announcements, reminders of coming activities and events. Take time each month to read through the newsletter. This monthly newsletter is our primary form of communication with our families.
Court Orders & Divided Custody ArrangementsCCA encourages all parents to fulfill their parental obligations. Court orders that affect a child's custody are required to be on file with the school office. It is the responsibility of custodial parents to insure that a photocopy of the complete court order is in the student's permanent file. Mailed materials regarding the child will be sent to the address provided by the custodial parent.
Withdrawals and DismissalsTo withdraw your child from school, the parent or guardian must submit in writing to the office your intentions of withdrawing your child 30 days prior to the date of withdrawal. The tuition
for the 30 days is due and payable prior to the actual withdrawal date. Should a notice be given mid-month, the tuition due will be pro-rated on a daily basis. All school property
must be returned and all financial obligations must be cleared before the student withdrawal is complete.
Note: The August tuition payment is non-refundable. Anytime a
student or parent cannot remain in harmony with the philosophy, decisions, rules and policies of Charisma Christian Academy, the student will be dismissed from school and not considered
for future enrollment at CCA. No refunds will be given to students who are expelled.
